This plant is a Peperomia verticillata, commonly known as the “Red Log” Peperomia. [1]
It is a striking semi-succulent houseplant native to Central and South America. It stands out due to its unique, thick, canoe-shaped leaves that display a rich forest green on top and a vibrant, fuzzy maroon-red underneath. As the stems grow longer, they begin to trail beautifully over the sides of the pot, making it excellent for shelves or hanging baskets.
